Our aim is to assist the employer to facilitate an employee’s safe return to work as soon as reasonably practical following illness or injury. Our highly skilled medical professionals will make specific recommendations, working with all parties concerned based on their detailed understanding of the role, task and workplace culture.
In some cases this could involve a staged return to work, work with temporary/permanent restrictions, referral for counselling, specialised therapies e.g., cognitive behavioural therapy etc.
The DDA may apply in certain cases and advice would be given regarding “reasonable adjustments” to the workplace. The medical professional would liaise between all parties including GP’s and specialist consultants as necessary.
